Having trouble charging at home with zappi and IO go, sometimes no issues at all but recently zappi appears to think battery is full and will not charge car. No charge schedule on car. Any ideas? Zappi has been updated to latest firmware.

I don't own a Zappi, but my understanding is that AC chargers to not receive the SoC from the car, so the Zappi doesn't actually know that the battery's full, but rather it's guessing because the car isn't calling for power.

I would try disabling Eco+ mode first. I see that this charges at 1.4kW when your own generation is above 14W. My car stopped charging on a granny cable when that fell below 1.7kW (for unknown reasons), so perhaps the car just refuses to charge slowly sometimes.

If you left the car for a long time, and Zappi was going start charging in the morning using solar power, it might have gone to sleep to preserve the 12V battery and the Zappi can't wake it up. Try setting a schedule for the car for the same time you want the Zappi to charge it and see if that resolves it. My personal method to solve this problem - which I experienced once - was to tell the car to charge from the API when my charger wanted to charge, but I appreciate that's on the extreme side.

I forget how I did it. But I did a reset on zappi when I had similar issues and that fixed it. It’s don’t through the zappi menu.

Not familiar with Zappi either but looking @ your first picture, it appears it’s set to manual boost with a limit of @ 0.34kWh? I think this should be set to ‘scheduled’ with no limit (99kWh)?

Set the preferred SoC in the iSmart app or on the infotainment menu.

No, that just how IO works with the Zappi app. IO basically sets a manual charge for you.

Not has this issue, the Zappi only offers the charge so its up to the car to accept it or not. As others have mentioned, don't leave the car plugged in too long before the charge session. I have had this issue when I plugged in late morning, the car would not accept the charge that night.

Just wondering if you have found a solution as today I missed out on a full charge from solar as Zappi decided the car was fully charged.

I have previously reported an issue here of charging from solar stopping due to passing cloud. Today that wasn't an issue.

Folks my Octopus fitter didn't have a Zappi when he arrived despite me ordering one.I got an Ohme Home Pro that works fine.
It is wired so as the mains comes in past the DNO fuse it splits one part to the house & solar PV one separate way to the charger.

The fitter told me they have problems firstly if the supply is not split and secondly especially with Zappi of it waiting for solar when set up on an IGO scheduled charge .
I haven't pushed the Ohme to use solar , which it can, as :-
1. I get more for export than it costs to fill the car.
2. If the solar drops be low 2.5kW imput it will use costly mains power.

Of course he could be bull shitting me to cover their error but the Ohme seems to work well.

All the Zappi does is offer a charge to the car, it does not know if the car is full of not. The car has to accept the charge for it to charge.

Get the same issue on an MG4. I use the excess solar facility of the Zappi to charge the car so have to leave the cable attached all the time. It's not unusual for the car to take a few kW then decide it's full (when it's only 70% or so - the level of charge doesn't appear to matter). I regard the situation as another feature of MG's interesting interpretation of bug-free software. If I notice the Zappi showing the blue light (emergency?) I open the passenger door (to release the cable) pull the cable plug out and put it back in - car usually resets and the Zappy goes pink (healthy?) again.
