No - Disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery, has the same effect as pulling the supply feed on the info unit and resetting it.15 minutes will not mess up other electrics or mileage etc?
It has effectively frozen / glitched the unit and needs a hard reset.
Sometimes pressing and holding down the power button on the head unit for about 15 seconds will reboot the system, but a complete hard reset requires the power supply to the module disconnecting.
You MAY lose your saved / stored radio stations.
A complete battery disconnect on the ZS EV will cause the TPMS readings to be lost, but they will relearn and return when you make your next trip.
It takes about 5 - 10 miles for the car to relearn the tyre pressure readings, when the car is driven.
