or kids....Different .......... Is the best way to describe this type of solution I guess ?.
I would be a bit worried that somebody would decide to try and swing off this cable, after a good night down at the pub!.
I think I prefer the trench idea with some sort of capping the Council could do it for a small charge bit like getting a dropped curb just cost less?Interesting. Not so long ago I heard that a council (in England, I think, but can't remember where) will on request cut a channel across a footpath that'll safely accommodate a charging cable. Seemed like a great idea to me.
I think this is what you are talking about, they have been testing this in OxfordInteresting. It could be or something similar it's not in your face like over the head option I think it's a good alternative something has to be done for people who don't have driveways? That's not a street solution though is it ?
Yes sure. Just pointing out you can't buy one (for £35) & start hacking up the pavement with your Woolworths angle grinder ?It could be or something similar it's not in your face like over the head option I think it's a good alternative something has to be done for people who don't have driveways?
Surely it not as destructive as getting your curb lowered obviously with permission?(As obv you can't start chopping slots in the council's pavement ...)
Try it & see what happens? ?Surely it not as destructive as getting your curb lowered obviously with permission?
I do like the path ducting idea, much better than the overhead system to be honest. It could be or something similar it's not in your face like over the head option I think it's a good alternative something has to be done for people who don't have driveways?
I agree I only put the price as it may be useful for people on their own property just trying to be helpfulYes sure. Just pointing out you can't buy one (for £35) & start hacking up the pavement with your Woolworths angle grinder
