You are in a safe place here, we're always here for you man ?? At the mere mention of MG4, my wife’s eyes glaze over. Fortunately, I can get my fix on this forum.

Same here. It was good to see it on the road. These reviews just increase my anticipation. At last, a review in of a Trophy in the exact colour I have ordered.
An equally kitted Niro is £10k more, but the outcome seemed to be I can afford it, so I'd pay it. Well a Model Y is only £10k more than the Niro, so why not go for that. By which point you'll be getting close to the G60...Not a bad review of both cars but it seems a bit odd to be directly comparing the two when I'd have thought the obvious comparison to the Kia Niro EV would be the MG ZS EV, especially when the only winning factor they could give the Kia was its size.
It makes me think that the MG4 is such a game changer that reviewers can only think to compare it to cars that cost 25-30% more.

The irony is ... no matter which other car it is compared against, the MG4 is still coming out well.An equally kitted Niro is £10k more, but the outcome seemed to be I can afford it, so I'd pay it. The current comparables for the MG4 are the ID3 and Born, size wise, or the other MGs price wise. I don't see the point in reviewers comparing it to completely different cars. I recall Top Gear doing a comparison of a small city car with a supercar, but that did appear to be a joke whereas for EVs anything electric appears to be fair game.
Did he really throw cases in the boot of the borrowed review car, spray water in the car and throw the parcel shelf into the trees!!!Did he really point to the indicators and describe them as daytime running lights ?
I watched the review and thought "what an utter a-hole he is" ?Did he really throw cases in the boot of the borrowed review car, spray water in the car and throw the parcel shelf into the trees!!!
It's his normal antics.I watched the review and thought "what an utter a-hole he is" ?
According to the spec list there are DRLs integrated into the front bumper indicator lights on Trophy trim, which is probably what he was going by. Unless you meant something else?Did he really point to the indicators and describe them as daytime running lights ?
Keep him well away from all that I own and hold dear - can car wow deal with anything they treat with such utter disrespect??I watched the review and thought "what an utter a-hole he is" ?

To be fair to him, he does that to a lot of other cars, not just MGAgreed, I felt he disrespected the car a little. I find myself not wanting to like his reviews, but valuing them none the less.
He covers a lot of practical details most other reviewers miss.
I just thought spilling water all over the place, including right by the USB ports was a little more than the usual. Don't get me wrong, I want massively offended! As I say, I value his reviews more than many.To be fair to him, he does that to a lot of other cars, not just MG

Oh right, thanks for the info, it's just that I've only ever seen the long indicator light flashing there on video reviews, didn't see the DRL, I thought those were the series of little white lines at the top of the main headlight glassAccording to the spec list there are DRLs integrated into the front bumper indicator lights on Trophy trim, which is probably what he was going by.
