Sadly that is also the case in Australia regardless of vehicle type. 90% of sales staff do not have a clue and will not take the time to study up on the vehicles they are selling. Even if they read their own brochures they could gain some basic knowledge.The lack of basic technical knowledge amongst sales staff re EV's is kinda depressing![]()
If you ask them for the power and torque of the vehicle they look at you as though you have a mental issue.
They seem to just expect you to briefly check the car over, sit in it and perhaps go for a drive and then sign on the dotted line without any further interaction with them.
