Hello All,
I recently got a new 2022 model EV5 - I set the destination route guidance in the inbuilt infotainment sat-nav and start the journey. On drive, I access music and other screens in the infotainment system, but when a round-about or motorway exits come, only the guidance voice is heard but the map screen doesn't pop-up. Any help how to make it dynamic pop-up like in other cars so we don't miss any visual map guidance during driving..?
Thanks in advance!
Can anyone reply to this please?

I presume by saying a new 2022 model EV5 that means a Mk2 or the facelift version. If so then I'm afraid I'm out as I have the Mk1 or pre-facelift.

I don’t think anyone uses the built in maps, because they don’t have live traffic and the car supports android auto and CarPlay. Sad but there you go!

Perhaps it thinks the drivers eyes are supposed to be on the road not on an infotainment screen when negotiating roundabouts etc.. :)

I don’t think the standard satnav is that great. A lot use AA or CP instead. I believe the standard satnav is based on TomTom software
I had the mk1 and it would not dynamically change just voice guidance when other options were in use.

The standard satnav on the facelift is a dramatic improvement (like almost everything on the facelift). The only thing it’s missing is live traffic (either using the car’s SIM card or a Bluetooth attached phone) — if it had that then I’d be using it full time.

Ok..

Thanks for checking.. I feel that's a required feature missed by MG - hope it will be corrected in future updates..
