MG seem to be telling customers to whistle…?does your car whistle between 40mph-60mph?

It's difficult. Mentality is they think they can get away from this, it's not a "big deal"
Not that I have noticed but i will be listening more carefully now. I did think of that when putting the post up, having noted comments by some other owners. In fact 80 mph spurt overtake the other day on M5 I thought was incredibly quiet.does your car whistle between 40mph-60mph?
Something similar actually happened to some flats built in my town, back before the beginning of time.If MG built flats ?View attachment 14887
Leni: maybe: when whether forecasters give the daily max/min temperatures, those are usually taken from inside a box ('Stevenson screen', i.e. a louvred box) at 1.25 metres above ground. On a clear-sky polar-airmass night, a black tarmac surface may cool to a somewhat lower temperature than the quoted met office temperatures. If this area of tarmac is in a 'well' and there's little wind (quite likely in that weather pattern) to mix the airmass, the cold air will be denser and just sit there, chilling out; you might see five deg C or more lower than them bbc forecasts. Park yer motor over it and...What you are saying about the temp ranges probably explain why some members have had theirs crack and break off this winter
Just wondered if anyone ever experimented with tape to stop the whistles? As a temporary solution of course.....I'll be honest and the gap in my car is not great, I reckon a heavy duty black gaffa tape would do the trick.
??? Don’t you just love auto correct!Has anyone had a concusion from MG or any dealers ….
Mechanics tend not to let customers walk under a vehicle when it's up on a lift.Has anyone had a concusion from MG or any dealers regarding bulges in the undertray of MG4s. Got a bulge front and back, and dont know if a dealer would sort it out?
I thought I posted this in this thread, but I can't find it..Has anyone had a concusion from MG or any dealers regarding bulges in the undertray of MG4s. Got a bulge front and back, and dont know if a dealer would sort it out?
Possibly but I think the 2 piece just give ease of access.one-piece tray the best answer, maybe?
Yep, an overlap would probably help a lot, that and more fixing points on the BMS casing, there's only two and they're well back from the front edge.Possibly but I think the 2 piece just give ease of access.
If the front one was a little longer with a little step down on the leading edge, the back one could slide into the gap and it's front edge would be covered by the back edge of the big front tray. If that makes sense
The rear tray bolts to the back edge of the battery pack, so there isn't the ability to have an overhang.Possibly but I think the 2 piece just give ease of access.

I was thinking of the back edge of the front panel overlapping, probably didn't describe it that well. If that is what your already describing then just ignore my last? The rear tray bolts to the back edge of the battery pack, so there isn't the ability to have an overhang.
You mean the rear undertray where is meets the rear diffuser?I was thinking of the back edge of the front panel overlapping, probably didn't describe it that well. If that is what your already describing then just ignore my last?
