The boot area is not well lit by the existing small light, and I don’t have the skills to wire anything in.
I have bought a pair of rechargeable, motion sensor LED lights - the sort sold for inside cupboards etc. They were provided with a magnetic strip and sticky pads which I have fixed underneath the plastic sections where the parcel shelf sits. The lights themselves just then attach to the magnet. So easy to remove for recharging, and they illuminate the boot area quite well. 2E861486-52DA-4F7D-97A9-6F15EAE5FB2F.jpeg

Looks like a good alternative to wired in option that I went for makes all the difference

I've got them in my cupboard. My only issue with using them in the car is the cold weather we're having meeting with the battery. Thinking of getting lights they will illuminate under the boot floor when lifted.

I bought the same and fitted in glove box, motion sensor, so comes on when glove box opened. Rechargeable via USB. £4.41 on ebay

I just changed the bulb from the standard to an LED and it is much better

Can you post a link for the bulbs, as well as the boot liner. Thanks
I just got them both on Ebay:

Cool White Festoon 31 - 39 mm C5W LED CAN Bus Error Free C10W Licence/Interior | eBay
C5W LED Bulb

TAILORED PVC BOOT LINER MAT TRAY for MG ZS EV since 2019

The bulb was easy to swap out, if you get a really small flat screw driver and put it in the side nearer the driver, it leavers out towards you as you are standing at the boot. Just disconnect the cable, swap the bulb and reverse the process. If you've done it right the bulb will light up straight away

No, I didn’t.
Had to hunt about...this might help if there's no confirmation:
The two LEDs at the front (reading light ones) and the one in the boot.

For the front Osram W5W (cool white) and the boot Osram C5W (360 31mm) (cool white). Be careful if changing the boot if you don't do the proper thing and disconnect the battery... It will be very hot.
Old post, but reckon it would be the same still?

Hi All, sorry for the delay, the original bulb is 30mm in size. If you ordered a 31mm bulb it should fit fine as one of the contacts is flexable. I ordered the 36mm 6 LED and had the bend the flex contact a bit but it did fit! The original bulb gets hot quickly so use a cloth when removing it so you dont burn your fingers, its a bit of a faf putting the new bulb back in especially if you have to bend the contacts but it will go in eventually!

Just unplug the black connector and let bulb cool down
One more thing I'd say some of these LED bulbs are polarity dependant so if it doesn't work first time flipping the bulb around should get it to work
