is that your car? Is that corrosion on the pins?View attachment 16093
The charge port from an SE SR for comparison - certainly single phase. So if you can see anything in the L2/L3 slots then it's almost certainly 11kW 3-phase capable.![]()
Looks like condensation to meis that your car? Is that corrosion on the pins?
oh you're right, pic higher up is higher res and is def droplets, couldn't zoom in enough to this oneLooks like condensation to me
Long range models only, SR is 1ph 6.6kWLet me get this straight, MG4s (new batch) are still coming with 11kW charging?
Glad to hear that, as I've got no home charger I'll be relying on public chargers and 11kW on my Trophy will save a few hours.Long range models only, SR is 1ph 6.6kW
Yep. Picked mine up last week and got 3 phase on a 22kw chargepointLet me get this straight, MG4s (new batch) are still coming with 11kW charging?
Definitely, thanks for confirming everyone, makes my life easier.I think we can put this thread to bed then.
Hi, the extra pins on the type2 socket are not for rapid charging.I just got a 2022 MG4 Trophy Long Range as a long term rental car atm, it has the extra pins for rapid charging but I keep reading conflicting reports on how fast this car will charge. Has a standard type 2 cable with it. Can anyone confirm?
