MG5 Jumpstarting/Jumpstarter??

My sons Toyota Hybrid died with a dead "8volt" battery { 8volt LOL }. I had a feeling EV`s weren`t supposed to deal in Jumpstarts, so we used Grandaughters MG ZS Petrol for Jumping { successfully }. Prompted me to check it out. According to the manual, it`s OK to receive a Jumpstart to the 12v battery, so does it mean that we can deal out Jumpstarts???

I'd say no to an EV to xyz car jump start - I bought a Noco Jump unit to cover my family and or mine

For ref: the load on the above unit can be up'd depending on the potential so a 3.5 ltr derv would need a bigger unit... Hope that makes sense
