Parcel shelf removal?

Hey all,

I tried removing the parcel shelf on my trophy with no luck. Is there an actual way to remove it?

Is the parcel shelf different between the Trophy and SE? On my SE you detach the cords from the boot lid, lift the shelf (so you can see the hinge points) and then gently pull back towards you.

And mine - just be gentle as the pins can snap off. Many modern cars have totally flimsy parcel shelves, bring back the big slabs of oak we used to see! ?
