Dead 12V battery - any help and advice please?

I've been keeping an eagle eye on it, as I did think it would be wrecked, but it seems to be back to normal... switching on gives 12.9 to 13.2 which then rapidly climbs to 14.1V

Take the MG Assistance ( A.A. ) persons advice, buy a booster pack and store it under the drivers seat ?.
If the battery should ? run flat again, then use the jump pack to get you on the move, then order a new battery if it happens again.

Already done... bought this and it fits nicely in the glove box with the car's manual.
