Android Auto Wireless adaptor (Recommendations required)

Hi I have bought the PL8 Wireless adaptor but it seems very intermittent, and sometimes just crashes. Not sure if its the device or the car.

Anybody had success with a wireless adapter and MG ZS EV 23 plate, if so which one do you have?

Hi,

This has worked seamlessly since October 2023. Tested with one user though. It connects automatically when you enter the car, so theres a short learning curve where you, before you leave, mute and turn off/go to main screen in MG in order not to annoy other users of the car (who don't use Carplay themselves).

Connect to android auto or car play wirelessly so no need of a usb lead

yes, as @Silver estate says, you don't have to plug/unplug your phone into USB car socket if you want to use Android Auto or CarPlay (very handy for navigation) and for the sake of £15 or so, worth every penny ...

I got one of these, they are all more or less the same, you plug it into USB socket and they use Bluetooth to connect to your phone. It acts as a USB cable replacement so both AA and CP should work fine (haven't tested on iPhone but should be just fine)
I use it every other time when I drive and so far no problems whatsoever. They are on eBay too and all are more or less the same thing so fish for teh best price and if worried, find one that can be returned - Temu or eBay and some AliExpress will accept returns ...
