This message above from Gelf is very much another issue. In daytime these lights, which are important for safety reasons, are practically not visible.

You are right. I had a test drive few days ago and I never saw the warning light.
BTW I bought the car. It will be delivered in 6-8 weeks.

I first saw the blind spot warning lights the other day and agree that, during the day time, they are all but useless.

Never heard a warning sound. I should get the car 7th june. Then I should be able to test more.

Before the MG my intention was to buy a Kia Nero.
There behavior was as follow,
Car in the other lane behind and approaching you: Led in the mirror on.
Car in the other lane behind and near you: Led in the mirror flashing.
Car in the other lane next to you and you want to or changing lanes, the led is lashing and an audio alarm is heard.

I find the MG EV blind spot warning light VERY helpful ..even in daylight.

You are right! But the Phev has a complete different and less sofisticated system because the HS is longer on the market.
