There are 85 MG3 Hybrids for sale on Auto Trader at the moment, some with discounts of £2000 to £2500 so i hope you guys are not paying full list price.

Some of the cars are pre reg with 5 miles on the clock as the dealers have registered them to get their dealer bonuses by meeting sales targets, but you would have the car immediately and with a discount.

The 360º camera is probably the main attraction for me, also at our age, me and Mrs Clive like our heated seats, I like the Keyless entry as well, and I've never had a heated steering wheel, so that will be nice.

Believe me Clive, the heated steering wheel is something you will gloat over all winter. I've had one in my Bayon since 2021. That, with the seated seats, was the clincher in my choice. And don't forget, in your new MG3, you can turn all this on from the comfort of your cozy living room! How fantastic is that?

I also hope when some of you are buying, if eligible you join the MG affinity programme, Armed forces/police/NHS/public sector/local goverment etc) this gives an instant cash saving i.e MG3H Trophy £18701 this includes all paint colours at no extra cost. Easy to sigh up online, the dealers might move slightly on this price or throw something extra into the deals fuel/matts etc. Worth it if you are not great at the dealer negotiation dance.

I was pretty lucky on the discount for my MG3 TROPHY with metallic paint - I paid 18,900, though this did include a finance deal incentive...

Arnold Clark took £700 off the list price and we got another £100 reduction, plus the first year road tax, mats, £25 worth of fuel and a little bag for free. At that point, I could not find a significantly better deal.

I wonder how supply & demand is already affecting discounts. The Arnold Clark salesman said they had bought a lot, but after a month, I have yet to see another on the road.

I've had mine since end of May and haven't seen one on the road either. Should be pretty noticeable with these huge dummy(?) intakes!
For the record I managed to squeeze around a grand off with mats and half a tank of juice. Still waiting for the boot lock to be looked at under warranty though.

How do you do that 'a129'!? It must be downhill everywhere near you - best I have managed is just 60.1 mpg and thought that was good.

Have also realised on the 'power sharing(?)' screen a number appears like 2.6 or 1.5, etc. Could this be the engine rpm/1000? ( i.e. 2,600 or 1,500 rpm ) Again something difficult to see when driving...

Thanks @Big Ears , I wouldn't say there are any supply problems, I'm having to wait because my Dealer didn't have any in stock, so we had to order it. You can still get lucky and find them for sale in various colours, but I think the first batches that went to the Dealers have mostly been sold or put on as demonstrators.

I think we should start a list of new MG3 Hybrid owners, it's a new car, so it's a good time to begin such a list. I know some people won't like to be on a list, but you'd only be added if you posted your details in this thread.

Does anybody know how many miles I will get out of a full tank of petrol? The screen says 331 miles but the car has only done 25 miles! I filled it up at 87 miles left in the tank after collecting from Penton in Salisbury who were brilliant and so helpful. Driving in the most KERS setting as opposed to normal.

The fuel tank is 36 litres (7.919 Gallons). The range will depend on how you drive etc but I'm averaging 61mpg at the moment (according to the onboard computer). Bear in mind that it should be less efficient until it beds in.
