Hello, I have a 2023 zs long range trophy and had to collect a lot of fruit and veg for a food bank. The back seats were folded down before the weight was put in but all the journey the seat belt alarm was going off. Is there anyway to deactivate this in the future please? Thanks

It happens to me too, the only way to stop it is to get some seat belt ends and plug them in when the seats are down. They are on Amazon and eBay.

there is another thread with exactly the same problem, have a look there

I think you can just put on seat belts for dummies as if they are sitting there?.

I had the same issue when moving my daughter's stuff. Had already packed the car and set off with an hour's drive ahead, but there was no way I was going to unpack at the side of the road just to fasten the rear seatbelts. It wasn't a problem in the end as the warning sound stopped after 5 minutes (approximately).

That's something to watch out for. I often have a 'trip to the tip' with the seats down with bags of garden rubbish. It hasn't happened yet though. I had rear seat passengers and one had plugged in to the wrong buckle, that confused us for a wee while. We weren't going to the tip?
Have you found the two buckles together disappear into the seat and are difficult to engage??
