Hello everyone!

I'm driving a 2023 MG ZS EV here in Perth, Australia.

Does anyone know how to disable the annoying audible alert when going over 102 km/h? It doesn't happen every time I start the car, but when it does, I can't seem to turn it off. Lowering the volume isn't a great solution since I still want to listen to audiobooks or music without the alert blaring.

Before the audible alert, there's a woman's voice that says something like, "You have exceeded the preset speed limit" just once. After this, the car will always have the warning set for the rest of the drive, but it's kind of random when the alert is active upon car startup.

This is particularly frustrating since the speed limit on country roads is 110 km/h.

I've tried disabling speed alerts on the driver's display, turning off the Speed Assist speed warning setting within the MG Pilot settings, and even restarting the vehicle to disable the Speed Assist. However, it turns on every time I restart the car and doesn't save my settings. My Speed Control Mode is already set to off.

Refer to the attached video for the sound I'm talking about.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Legends! ?

I don't have this on my LR. And if does, only sounds like the dong you heard on plane, not high pitch beep.

Never heard this as speed warning... Sounds like an alarm clock... Have you increased the speed limit warning to over 110?
