Speed camera alert

That really does annoy me, that and the speed display being wrong most of the time, and more so when the slow down banner appears over the top of the limit icon when I'm doing 22 in a 30 limit.

So which is the actual camera alert setting as I'm getting more and more frustrated with the software.

I'm also looking at the speed threshold, it is set to 30 mph but what does it do?

I would think it should just give you a warning when you reach 30mph, but if there are so many beeps and bongs, you may never know.

One of the sat nags I had on my phone used to just say "Camera" one bong.

A different bong, say x 4 and then stop, we were in traffic and it kept going until we past it, MADNESS.

I have a similar problem and the main agents said its not rare and they are waiting for an update from MG. The car is going into the seller next week for another 'test'.

Picked up my new MG3 Hybrid on 31July and on the M25 every minute there were speed restrictions and the speed camera warning sound drove me and my wife mad.It was so loud.So I turned it off.
I have since turned it on again and nothing still. Have I done something wrong.

Look in the hints and tips you can turn it down low enough to hear at 50% is useful. Bit damned annoying when you're in multi camera zone.

you can disable the speed camera alert on navigator setting, go on navigator and you can find the setting to disable it.

To deactivate the speed limit sound, you must go to MGPILOTE and uncheck the box for the speed limit sound. then the light indicating the limit will only flash.

disadvantage, you have to do it every time you start.

for radar alerts (an option which is normally prohibited in France), you actually have to go to navigation, in the menu, at the bottom right, and on "alert point warning" uncheck alert point.

you also have the “sound” box which concerns all navigation.

Thanks lads, I don't mind the bong TBH it just goes on far too long and becomes irritating then distracting I did manage to turn it down once but have not found where I did it since.

Why doesn't it ust say "camera" and ****.
