At the Everything Electric show my friends, whose surname is Boyd, looked at a Dolphin and said, we should have one of these! When I pointed out that this would mean they had to drive around with "Build Your Dreams" emblazoned on the back of the car, their enthusiasm cooled markedly.

Fishing line, would soon sort that out. Still don't want one though. ?

I debadged my SE first chance I had. I’d do the same if I had an X-power or a lucid sapphire

I don’t like being a free advertisement billboard for a company I paid money to.
Agreed to a certain extent. I debadge mine for the clean look, and makes people wonder what hell has just left them standing at the lights (slightly childish i know, but bl00dy good) and slightly easier to clean/polish. What I don't like though are dealer stickers in the back window, they look awful. Particularly the god awful, big yellow Arnold Clark sticker.

I took off the AC sticker right away ... as it was planted right in the middle of the (limited) rear view of the rear window! ?‍♂️?

Fortunately it was fitted to the outside so easy to peel off without risking the demist wires. :)

I'm seriously thinking about getting a new rear number plate to get rid of the Macklin Motors insignia. That's how much I hate them.

I always take off the dealer's window sticker the minute I get a new car. I don't know why anyone leaves them on.
Agree, either remove the dealer branding or charge them a fee for advertising

I did the same with my Hawkins sticker after I'd specifically asked them not to put one in AND THEY'D AGREED NOT TO!! ?.
Unfortunately it was a long one and on the inside. I'd left it a couple of days before I managed to get round to doing it, pretty sure they'd used superglue. All over the demist wires.
Some squeaky bum moments there, I can tell you.
Still, seems I got away with it ??

I'm swapping my dealer supplied '24 plate ( with dealer name) for a private (23) plate with no dealer name on September 1st - not long now ??. Anticipation is everything, savouring the moment.

Just checked the calendar, maybe Sept.2 ?

To be honest, free advertising for the dealer as such, doesn't bother me . As on the number plate, particularly if the dealer has treated me well. It's just the bloody sticker in the back window that bugs me, as I've said looks awful and some of them are really big, spoils the look of the car from the back. ?

There was no window sticker on my MG4 when I collected it, thankfully. I wouldn't mind the number plate, except I have come to hate that outfit with a fiery passion. (I remember getting my first car, a Fiesta, and looking at the sticker and thinking, am I allowed to take that off? Lots of people seem to have them on their cars...? Ten seconds later it was off.)
