Ismart App Keeps logging out

So I have had this Mg now for 2 years . The ismart app has had it ups and downs . Well more downs then ups . So the latest up date has not fixed the problem of Token expired and being logged out . I have contacted mg using the link in the app . The response was funny they said make sure you have good internet not using a vpn and make sure the time on my phone is correct.

I said that all is good the reply was then that the sim package has ran out and would have to wait till the next month lol.

Then send another email saying the problem is with the app and not the sim as it keeps logging me out . When you go on the apple apps review page for this app .There are loads with the same problem .

The last email they have sent goes as follows .

There is noway I am going to give them all the details .


Are other people having the same issue ? . If so we could all do with reporting it in the app.
 
I have found in the past, that if you are requested to log back into your account for no apparent reason, then the fiddle fairies have been at work in the back ground, likely making changes been to the app in some way or form.
Like when they removed the electric window status and then more recently the sun roof status in the health check facility.
It only reports 10 items now instead of the original 12 ( if I remember correctly ).
Only this morning, I wanted to preheat the car as the weather conditions are terrible here !.
When I opened the App it directed me straight to the log in page.
All my details were there, it just asked for my password.
On entering my password it flashed up briefly with a token expired message, then disappeared.
I have seen this behaviour a number of times over the years with the Ismart App.
Oh ….. I am running on the original front screen lay out and not the more modern 100 year lay out on my IPhone.
I have learnt over the years, that being in a hurry to upgrade to the latest version, has resulted in all sorts of problems TBH.
 
How often do you have to log in? Every time you use the app or once a week, once a month ...?
Nearly everyday . The customer service is terrible. There is no way I am giving them my details . Like I say if you go on the App Store reviews for this app . Loads are saying they are always getting logged out .
 
Same for me but that is for safety to make you log in.
I think more an issue with the servers!
My work laptop is doing it every month and asking to change password that is not in any way similar to the old one ...
That’s your IT department playing the, “changing your password every month forcing you to record thinking it is more secure than keeping one and being able to remember it game “ pointless !!
 
Same here. It used to stay logged in for the first six or so months that I had the car, but now I have to login basically every single day. Super frustrating and annoying, but then again so is basically everything about this horrible car. Can’t wait until the lease ends in another year.

But when you contact mg or the developer. They say it the first they have heard about this. Just look at the reviews on the app page 😂
