I've only had this once.
It was in Haverfordwest Mcds.
It was busy and the two chargers had ice in them.
Luckily, one had a family in it eating.

I politely explained that I needed the bay they were in to charge my car.
They apologised and moved.
Fair enough. Pretty sure they won't do it again. Politeness is always the first call.
And with the majority it will work. ??
But if that fails, then bring out the,
Gatling Gun. ??

I've recently taken up darts again.
Always keep mine in the glovebox just in case I fancy a quick game.

Always worth checking for cctv though.

No one's wants to be seen playing poorly.

And no, I am not condoning using a tyre as a substitute dartboard.
That would be silly.

Filler foam is also a useful car accessory.

charging at home is easy and 95% how we do it.
But unlike West Wales, we aren't so well served by public chargers yet, although that is improving slowly.
Biggest bug bear is ICE vehicles parking in the only charging bay.
Is there an acceptable strategy to discourage this?

In my area if you are in a charging bay and not charging, any parking warden that comes by will book you. Applies to both ICE and EVs. £60 fine soon teaches respect.

Now in year 4 of EV ownership going from MG5 LR to MG4 ER and certainly been a coaster ride the first 2 years!
In that time I could only use the granny charger with an extension lead and use rapid chargers where I could and not to forget the sheer amount of apps needed.

Now We have two electric cars, the other being my wife's mobility car, OHME charger installed and two apps for payment.
Rapid chargers are available in most places we have travelled with some being upgraded but on occasion one of them does get into a hissy fit with the car!

It certainly is going in the right direction for many just need the boffins to come up with induction charging for those who cannot have a house charger.

Nice if they did it everywhere. Whereabouts are you or is your location a deep secret ? :)

More power to your Gra …. From your Gran …. Och you know what I mean ?
Yep I do. ?
I mowed the the Lawn, while she's doing that for me, possibly the last time this year. I'm knackered now.
White Zinfandels consoling me. ??

Actually that reminds me. I charged my ZS a few times with the Granny, mostly at home but a couple of times at a friends and at a log cabin. But three years ago that car was traded for Magnette the 5 I have now. I’ve never needed to Granny charge the 5 because of the greater range. But you’ve just brought to mind the fact that the 5’s Granny is in its bag and hasn’t seen the light of day never mind being used. So I must plug her in to the car some day soon just to check. I could be harbouring a dud Granny here ?
