MG5 System Fault - HV Battery Shut Off

My foot is on the brake as soon as I sit the car, I got used to that behaviour when I drove a Volvo truck, you had to press the footbrake whilst releasing the handbrake to equalise the the air suspension...
The HV Battery warning is always amber in my 5...
I'm pretty sure it's Red if it's caused by a fault condition.

I have seen the amber one but usually only if I forgot to press the brake in, wonder why it's doing it on yours.

In the 2+ years I've had the 5, it's thrown up that error in amber dozens of times, I've never had a red error displayed.

The only times I've had it is when something went wrong during charging.

On A/C that usually means for whatever reason the EVSE has told the car it's going to provide power then some fault prevents that from occurring.

on DC it usually means the handshake failed and the cars thrown its toys out of the pram over it, I'm not sure specifically what conditions caused it, could even be retrying to soon after a failure because I've had it where a DC charger caused that and after faffing around and getting the error cleared retrying the same charger then worked.

I've also once seen it throw a HV battery error and abruptly abort during rapid charging on an old 50kw osprey unit.

It's quite possible I've got an intermittent problem with my MG5, but given the state of a lot of these public chargers i'm never quite sure if it's the car or the charger at fault.
