Aye, I've had a few grey vehicles over the years and they can go a good while before looking filthy.

Red seems to hide the dirt quite well too.

It's good that you recognise I was in the RAF without me actually saying it, all it took was a reference to the Premier Service.

I have a box I am regularly sent to it, a fighter pilot I wasn't, I did however spend my working life in DPM/OG.

I like you spent 12 years (Inc reserves) so know we'll your service.

Just a little nugget for those special enough to have the adorable Matte Green Paintwork.....

Today I washed the car but used a chamois to dry her off.

I still wanted to add some protection though, so used the Aquawax Sparingly on the dry panels.

Not the way to do it according to the instructions I know, but it was fine.

Rubbed it all in with a damp microfibre cloth, then went over it with a dry one.

Same result bit a little bit quicker I think.

Something cheap of Temu m8.
Cheap as chips and works well once you have washed it.

Still big enough though and works well.

Your just as likely to scratch it with a towel!

It's (as you know) all down to the prep and the wash before getting anywhere near it with a chamois or towel.

I'd be using something like Gyeon Wet Coat and some sort of blower vac on matte paint to try and minimise the need to touch it.
