Any 3-D printing enthusiasts here?

Silly question, but what is a "Post Lamp"? Is this the parking lights where the full headlights aren't required but some form of lighting for other drivers to see the vehicle is parked there in poorly lit area and narrow street .....
No one who actually knows has answered, so my thoughts are:

That wiring diagram page has the title "Side lamp and Daytime running lamp". The wires to the lamp assemblies are things like PosLamp_F_HSD and DRL_HSD.

My guess would be PosLamp_F is sidelight front (perhaps called position lamps by some).

I don't know about the HSD part of the names which I though I'd read meant High Speed Data somewhere, even though everything else about the diagram seems normal for a simple 12V lighting cable. If they somehow use the wires for the light's voltage and also Canbus or similar at the same time, I would want to take some advice before modifying any wiring. It should be a simple question to those in the know.

Terry, could you expand on that? Give enough detail that a motor mechanic unfamiliar with the MG4 could follow your instructions? I might be able to persuade my local garage to do it for me.

Others have said the would do theirs, but they're concerned it could create problems as their cars are leased. Mine was bought outright so I don't have these concerns.
First thing is to find where the body control module lives, the rest of it is straight forward, if the mechanic doesn't understand it, find another mechanic .... I'm a mechanic and I designed it and produced it in powerpoint .... and I'm not a computer person ;)

He should know to disconnect the 12V battery but have a battery minder attached before he does to save all your preprogrammed settings .....

Valid point, it could have a failed bulb type circuit that would register a fault code, so best to get that established before cutting any wires. I'm assuming these would be LEDs and not bulbs as such, so possible a full circuit testing loop.

That's not anyone in West Linton! That's a common scam to catch people looking for a service and divert them somewhere else.
You could email me to do the job for you, hrly rate is good, but the call out fee might be a bit more than your were expecting ;):rolleyes:

Hah! I'm not in a hurry here as I won't be going camping again until spring at the earliest, but I was thinking of going to the local garage here and asking if they could do anything about this.

I have an Anycubic Kobra 2 Max which I have used to print my car wheel inserts. The current set on my Orange Long Range 77 look really cool and a White Essence 64 now has Green/Purple one.
Attached are pix of the inserts on the White MG4.
