Just had my 1st service and I picked up the car with about 50% battery and it's telling me range of over 150 miles. It's an awful long way off. Is this something others have noted and presume it will work out my range soon enough?

Also I asked about software updates after and they are pretty clueless with nothing on any of the records about any software updates done. I did notice the ACC now when I set a speed and press the up joystick whereas I sued to get increments of 5mph I now get 1mph increments (and decrements). You used to have top long hold for steps of 1mph but it was a bit hit or miss. This actually seems a good change. I wonder if I might expect other things? I picked up the car March 2023.

Cheers

You likely got some software updates ... this resets the Accumulated Total counter and so the GOM shows the WLTP range adjusted for battery state of health and current temperature.

Check in Settings / System to see what Infotainment version you have. (See my new 1100R38 thread).

Wait a bit and see if the range reverts to making sense after you've driven for a bit. You can tell if you have R33 by a marked change in the HVAC screen.

This is what I see. Don’t see any change to the HVAC screen. Is this an updated software?

That's old, and explains the unchanged HVAC screen ... that's what I had 2 years ago, and went to 1100R33 a year ago. Now on 1100R38 as of today.

The ACC change is effected by other software updates. (Which I also got a year ago).

Thanks. I wonder what explains the ACC change I noticed? Very odd. I'm changing the MG4 for a Cyberster when it arrives so I won't worry too much about it!

Service campaign SC47 and SCUK001 updated various modules (other than the Infotainment) ... one of these updates changed the ACC behaviour, and also added the function that a long press on the middle-left button toggles between ACC and TJA.

Thanks. They did mention that SCUK001 when I pushed them
