As previously posted, I collected my brand new Hybrid ZS + last Tuesday and since driving it home, which was fine, I find that the rev counter is sticking at 1.3 RPM. This is the case between varying speeds from 20mph to 45mph and gives the feeling its being driven in second gear. The EV doesnt kick in and today I drove it for over an hour and returned less than 30 MPG. To say I’m concerned / disappointed is an understatement. I live in East Kilbride and have an MG dealer near me. Should I take it there or return it to where I bought it (Falkirk)? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Tha

If you have a dealer near you, I'd try them first. What's the worst that can happen? They might tell you to go back to the dealership you bought it from, but an astute dealer will spot a potential customer who might want to come back for the vehicles servicing.

Interesting this question that arises for me as I bought out of town, I've previously had Ford and Peugeot and found other dealers helped me when car under warranty, in fact I thought it was the law.

I’ve been in touch with the dealer I bought it from in Falkirk. I’ve to return it on Wed and get a courtesy car and hopefully pick it up on Friday……fingers crossed!!
