is it govened by the vin mumber or the chassic number or any other details..

Hi, are you able to read the label on the HV battery under the car?

There is an existing thread on this somewhere on this forum. It's to do with the weight. If you try a few different search strings using something like, "long range or standard range" etc, you should find the answer.

why? any doubts as to what you bought? was it new or second hand?

can you post a photo of your dashboard when the car is 100% full? it's pretty obvious as there is quite a bit of difference in range between the two and you can set charge limit to say 80% on long range models

Try and charge it to 80%. If you can’t you’ve got a SR. If you can you’ve got LR.

If your charging screen looks like this and you can move the slider to 80% the you have a long range.
