Mystery symbol in message centre pop up window

Hi, only had my xpower for a week after 4 years driving a Tesla3. Trying not to hate the xpower and focus on the £20K savings. But, lots of problems. Most alarming, on a 120 mile drive yesterday a symbol displayed in the message centre, of a car within brake calipers accompanied by ‘SLOW DOWN’. I was well below the speed limit most of the time and at least on the return journey the speed sign recognition was operating (it only works on 25% of trips!). My only comfort is that it is a yellow symbol and not a red one. Does anyone know what the symbol means? No photo as far too difficult whilst driving. Phoned the dealer this morning, but it’s Sunday and nobody there knew what this symbol means. It does not appear in the manual. Thanks everyone.

Using the controls in the right side of the steering wheel, go into the settings menu on the drivers screen, and change the speed limit warning to a speed you want.

Slow Down! warning

Just recently a Slow Down warning comes up on the drivers screen every time I exceed 20mph. It's accompanied by a circular symbol which looks like a foot on the pedal and also a ding sound.. It's regardless of the speed limit, don't think I changed any setting and have tried turning various...

I've had my X Power 15 months and it has not once told me to slow down.

It's flashed up "Really???" a few times, but never slow down.

All "problems" you cite are really just "Characteristics"

Plenty of help on here using the search function.

The only thing I still do after 15 months is switch of the LKA at the start.

She, on the whole, behaves herself now, not withstanding the E Call going AWOL once a week and the vibes which is still an ongoing issue with my vehicle.

It's a small issue, granted, and still being dragged out by the Lawyers/MG.

I'm afraid you will have to get used to a much worse mi/kWh than you have been used to as well.

Is this the symbol you are referring to? It's a shoe, but I guess at a glance it could look a bit like a car. As far as I know it's the only warning that reads "slow down", but my knowledge is not all encompassing of course.

I can see what you mean about the foot the pedal looking like a car, but no that’s not my symbol. I can’t see the 2nd symbol you reference.

You’re certainly right about the mileage. Averaged 4mi/KwH in the Tesla over 50K miles. So far the Xpower is only giving 2.6 mi/KWH.

Thanks for that. The position on the screen is correct, but not the symbol. My symbol has a car in the middle and the words SLOW DOWN to the left.

That's stumped me... Could you get a passenger to maybe take a picture of it when it happens? It's a shame you can't read back warnings after a drive. And annoying that the manual has nothing on these warnings.
