Unknown beeping

Driving along, Eco, ACC on, the car sometimes issues 7 short beeps. No visual indicators show on either screen. It's happened several times now and I think ACC has been on each time. Dont beleive it's a speed thing ...

Any clues, anyone, please ?

could be line assist? I can't remember hearing 7 short beeps ... hard to say as there are so many settings that could give warning and unfortunately not always it's shown on screen what it's about ...

Is it speed cameras?? My mg3 beeps quite a bit then just as you pass them it stops..

To get to the bottom of this, I've turned all I can "off". We think we've only occurs on m'ways - we'll be on one tomorrow so we'll see if it's gone away. If yes, I'll turn stuff back on one at a time ...

The beeps are variable, the most we've heard is 23 .....

I get a beeping that I believe is when the camera can’t detect the road edge/ white line when you are too near, it only happens at night at certain conditions, no warning signs or feedback from steering wheel
