Not an MG
Due to family (mother now has trouble getting in and out )and my health similar but not that bad I need to swap my MG5 for a more SUV type car
Got 2 on my short list either a Skoda Enyaq or a MG HS plugin hybrid
Has any one had any experience of either ?

I would say to test drive both and see what you think of them. Everyone will have a subjective view and only you will know what suits you.

Going to test an Enyaq this coming Saturday , at same dealer that MG was from Richmond Portsmouth so show room is next door to the MG Hyundai one
I do like my MG5 but can’t drive it for long journeys now as left leg starts to hurt , but I can drive a truck all day due to being a proper sitting position all day
also mum can’t get in and out easy either due to sill floor height

We tested the Volvo xc40 and the Kia Sport Kia Sport Sportage. We had a Volkswagen T-Cross. I'm a big Volvo fan, but We were disappointed with the soundproofing in the cabin. I was in the passenger seat of the Kia on the motorway, and I thought the window wasn't fully closed. The Salesman said it could have been noise from the mirror! We took the HS PHEV out a couple of times, and we were both very impressed. We have had the car for a month, and both love it. I can get very anxious about spending money 💰, but I feel we made the right decision. The cabin and drive suit us. We use the battery most of the time, saving about £150 a month, but we don't have to worry about longer journeys. There are a few things that could be better ✨️ , such as wireless Android and more physical buttons, but for the price difference, I can live with that. I am still trying to figure out this 1GB data limit per month 😫 as this does affect the built-in Amazon, weather, and sat nav when it runs out, which doesn't take long if you use Amazon Music. Many of the reviews mentioned the annoying safety warnings. I don't have an issue with them; you can turn them down in the settings if you wish. The only thing I turn off is the speed limit warning 😬 , but the plus features outweigh the bad, and software updates could resolve minor problems. Anyway, to each their own 😁 this is the most I wrote for any purchases. And I love switching on the heating and the heated seats from the app. Max 10 minutes, great for the winters. I thought I would add a picture in case you thought I was a Salesman, lol

Lovely car, sat into a Sport line version earlier this week. Great supportive seats and lovely interior. Nearly 60,000 euro over here.

Hi Edmundo, you say that the annoying safety warnings can be turned down (off?) in the settings, but I can’t see where - could you possibly give me a cluck by click guide ? You also say you turn off the speed limit warning - I guess you mean each time you start, rather than permanently…?
