How about ACC?Had mine done today. LKA is much improved.
it can detectToday I brought in mine for a full update, including this LKA one.
The mechanic asked if I had any issues. Apparently he hadn't read the list yet, but one of the things I mentioned was that any of the three modes properly recognize double solid lane markers. Like these:![]()
He said: no MG does this.
I interpreted his remark as "no MG4 does this", because I know the ZS does, the MG5 does, and now the EHS as well (spare car today).
Do you recognize what the mechanic said?
In all three modes? Or only in some?it can detect
Lka in the Trophy/Luxury comes with modes Alert, Lane Departure Assist and Emergency Lane Keeping. When you say "three modes", what exactly do you mean please?
Which are similar to the first two in the Trophy.Thanks. In the SE (Standard/Comfort) we only have Alert and LDP/LKA.
No idea, never used itHow about ACC?
Yes, even for LR. They updated me yesterday. Can anyone confirm SC077 also applies so SE LR models?

Definitely not UK. We don't have that much blue in our skiesAnd, do these two recognize the double solid markers? Picture is from the UK.
I’m guessing his mechanic is Dutch, in which case it would be unlikely to be a misunderstanding like that, as the Dutch language wouldn’t allow for it. I would guess the mechanic would say something along the lines of “not one of the MGs does this” if you were to translate it directly. How about "No, MG does this".
Poster lists their location as "NL" (The Netherlands)How about "No, MG does this".

Also... I don't recall seeing the little orange cats-eyes over here. And the number plates are not from UK, maybe it's from Aus or SA?
They're not from the UK so can't categorically say that the picture is from the UK ... and it most certainly is not, for the reasons stated.Poster lists their location as "NL" (The Netherlands)
The mg3, I think, has a more advanced/improved version of the MG4 lane keeping and traffic jam assist options. IIRC when the mg3 was launched there was talks of this upgrade to be made available on the mg4 too at a later date, but I wonder if the mg4 isn’t quite at the same level still, possibly due to hardware differences.Today I brought in mine for a full update, including this LKA one.

To the extent that LKA is now a help rather than a nuisance. Early days, though. My mg4 SE 51kWh had its first annual service yesterday (Ireland). No specifics about modules/version of software updates, but a note confirmed 'recall s/w update carried out'.
LKA is now vastly improved.
Well, this is where it came from Double solid markersHow about "No, MG does this".
