The option for speed limit recognition has stopped working in my MG HS PHEV. Under the MG pilot tab the toggle no longer works. Any ideas? This is also preventing ACC working.

Was working fine up until a few days ago. I've checked to make sure the senior is not obscured etc.

Hi Sparci,
All I could say is:
Clean the radar, clean the windows in front of the cameras.
What has worked for me: remove battery terminal(about 15mins) and it might reset the system.
Else, I know it sounds stupid, but it might just start working again by itself. Happened to me with similar radar related issues.
Cheers

I'm writing from Italy. I have the same problem and my dealer told me there is a software update for this problem. I have an appointment for March 5th.

The speed sensor has just stopped working on my 4 month old car, when selected it immediately switches itself off and subsequently the ACC is not available. checked sensor/camera for obstruction, both fine. I'll have to make an appointment with the dealer next week.:(

This happened to my new car ( hs phev trophy 2024 ) also and has been back to the dealer twice. It is currently with them as they cannot get it to connect to the diagnostic system! 😕

Hello,
I had the same problem after 5000 km.
I'm from France, the dealer has to do software updates of many car components before fixing it.
In the same time, we get a engine fault orange light with engine power lost. The dealer told me that this error was caused by the gearbox and he has to re-programm the gearbox to fix it.
Now everything seems to be ok.

Just had this problem fixed by a recall update to be then presented by the heating system malfunctioning! The dealer therefore has had to keep it in to try and sort this new issue before I could even leave the forecourt!
