Electric Mirrors

Just ordered an ZS EV Trophy. Odd question about the electric mirrors on the Trophy model. I expect they will retract and extend when the vehicle is locked and unlocked but can they be manually retracted? Our garage is quite narrow and in our current car (Focus) we have to fold the mirrors in to drive in and out.

According to the manual on page 56 then the mirrors can be folded in or out by pulling the adjustment knob down.

You may also wish to set them not to auto open/close.
Last thing you need is for the mirror to automatically open when you unlock the car in a garage if there isn't room for it to deploy.

Thanks for the link. I'd not found the owners manual. The charge point can go in the garage now

there's enough room in the garage, just going through the doors is tight.

Like parking spaces in car parks, garages/garage doors are not wide enough for the cars of today.

That's still a very good reason for setting them to manual operation

I was parked in the multi-storey car park at Hallamshire whilst visiting my wife after an op. The people on both sides of me parked so close that I couldn’t get in at all! I had to open the back door of the Yeti and climb in that way! Then trying very gingerly to reverse out without catching them. Very awkward. Just what I needed after spending eight hours or so at my wifes bedside then having an hour or so’s drive back to Newark. The spaces at Hallamshire are made for Minis!
