Disconnecting battery qwick fix

As disconnecting the battery can some time be a quick fix I know some of you carry a 10mm spanner just in case
Has anyone looked into quick release terminals

I'd hate to think it was needed often enough for that to be worthwhile.

Just for that one time fix with no tools needed this is what I will fit or similar and show wife how to use it only takes one duff charger it may just save the day?

My wife has a Fiat 500 and the negative terminal has a brilliant quick disconnect feature.
There the normal type post clamp that attaches to the battery, but it also has a round peg post attached to the clamp.
The negative lead has a RED quick release button, that will release the lead from the post on the clamp.
It takes no effort and the power can be killed in seconds !.
I was very impressed when I first seen this.
Brilliant and fast way to disconnect the battery.

How are going to attach your original negative lead, without cutting off the factory clamp first ?.

Looking at that picture I would say it's easier to just bolt on the positive side no cutting need

It looks similar to the Fiat idea, but it does not have the quick release button.
It favours the old 10mm bolt clamp.
I am not sure how you would be able to adapt the after market one really ????.
It has that "Black Box" of tricks behind, where the main negative terminal bolts to the battery.

I'm pretty confident as a way to fit it without doing any cuts

Actually looking at that negative you could just use a wing nut ? would do same job

Has anyone noticed that the battery Isolator has a battery type terminal on it so theoretically you can fit to battery then fit you original one to the isolator

it's in the same condition as mine mate !.
Pure guess, but that larger nut looks like 13mm spanner size to me ??.
Would need a bigger wing nut, but it would need a metric thread also ????.
A friend with a lathe is what you need.
Short length of HEX bar, about twice the length of the original nut ( to clear the top of the battery case ) then machine a thread on the inside.
Weld a short section across the top to form a "T" Bar nut.
Your done.
No spanner needed !
