Collected my MG5 long range today and absolutely love it although the home charger won't charge it - no surprise there then with BP. Charged at 50 kW charger up to 80% and only cost just over £8.
To fit wheelchair more easily I've removed the parcel shelf but is there anywhere to store it under the boot floor?

You can raise the floor to the upper level and will have some room to sit it on the top of the spare.

Does the newer LR one have a parcel shelf ?
SWMBO's SR has a retractable cover.

Problems again as there has been one charge on the 26th but failures each time since when checking.
I've followed troubleshooting hints for BP Charge master home charger including resetting.
I've tried started the car completely off and with the star button pressed and with it full on. I've locked the car with charger in but it still, seems random.
What am I going wrong? It worked on a public charger!

I've got a BP Chargemaster too, when I want to charge my 5SR, I do the following;
Arrive home, turn off the car, turn the key in the Chargemaster, insert the cable to the car first, then the chargemaster, it automatically connects and you hear the cable lock into place on the car. Check the green light is on the charger and the display is showing connected in the car and then lock it and walk away.

Had the charger since December and not had a problem so far, which having said that, means it won't work next time.

Hello BSing,
Thank you for your advice and, although I have been doing that, it has been erratic.
However, my garage said to give it the plug a good shove into the car and it charged up to 96% last night with a projected range of 250 miles so I'm now a happy bunny.
Let's hope it works again next time.

Now clocked up over 400 miles (I don't have to travel far) and it's cost me about £20 (would have been £70-£80 with my previous petrol car.
Still loving the EV, using it mainly in eco with kers3 and occasionally cruise control when on the A50 or A500 around Stoke on Trent - seems to be averaging 3.5mi/kWh at the moment but the weather is warming so perhaps that should improve - or is it about right?
I'll be off to Anglesey in a couple of weeks so it will be interesting as it's our first long distance trip.
Fortunately, the hotel (Treaddur Bay Hotel) has free charging bays so I'm already saving a fortune even before arrival!
