Preheating the MG ZS EV

Can anyone advise if you can run the AC/heater when the car is charging (ie go out to car and switch it on)? Would be good on those winter mornings to pre-heat without loosing journey charge.

I think you can only charge the car in READY mode when on a CCS charger, not on your Type 2 home charger.

Wouldn't installing an internal heater, like the termini series from defa give us all?
And the hassle of another cable, I know, but still a nice warm car.
