Engine oil grade

Hi all,

Im trying to find out what grade of engine oil my MG HS PHEV 2022 takes. My local dealership is about as much use as a chocolate heat shield as they never get back to me! I believe it’s a 0w-20 but don’t want to just get any type of 0w-20.

My car doesn’t need any oil, but I just like to have some available if ever needed.

0W20 as stated in the owners handbook. You can download a copy of the handbook from the MG website if you didn’t get a hard copy with the car.

Just a good oil is fine as it does use a little bit over time

Hi there,

The HS should have a C5 0W20 such as SHELL HELIX ULTRA ECT C5 0W-20.
