I think dealers are not keen on customers hitting them with the low usage prices for their service charges !.
They like to keep this cheaper option under wraps !.
I can sort of understand it though ?.
If you are paying on the day and they only take a very small amount of money, like £40 etc, then it becomes difficult to justify the amount of time spent on the car ?.
If they are very busy and workshop time is tight, then slotting in a EV in for a service for £40 is going to be seen a a pain in the rear.
Honestly, I think every two years is a more sensible time scale for an EV ????.
First service in an EV ????.
Is it really worth it, or necessary, considering the actual work content involved ?.
I guess that’s another subject altogether folks.
