100% Balancing Charge - Frequency and Method

Since October 2023, I've been charging at home mostly at 11kW, up to 80% except a few times when more is needed for a longer trip. I've never seen a prompt to slow-charge. Year 2023 ZS LR.

Android Auto Wireless adaptor (Recommendations required)

Hi, This has worked seamlessly since October 2023. Tested with one user though. It connects automatically when you enter the car, so theres a short learning curve where you, before you leave, mute and turn off/go to main screen in MG in order not to annoy other users of the car (who don't use...

    Current journey screen "wobble"

It's by design, unfortunately. I would call it an industry usability problem since I've driven a lot of models and this kind of we-know-better-than-the-user behaviour is common.

ZS EV front airbags deployed will not run.

I don't understand, you want to fix the airbags and the security system around them yourself??

MG ZS EV 2020 multiple warning lights

I'm sorry to be the typical it-support "have you tried to turn it off and turn it on again?" kind of guy :D but are you confident that you always as the first thing after entering the driver's seat have the brake pedal pushed firmly? Then pressing the start button and wait for the plings and...

Advice on new car choice - MG ZS EV... Or not?

No. The GDPR refers to personally identifiable data. There is no such thing regarding the battery's charging condition.

    Uphill range anxiety

No personal experience. Logic dictates that it should be less difficult than a diesel because your car has more torque, and doesn't eat of the thinner air. Perhaps there's something in the manual about steeper slopes or the like?

Interesting/worrying story from Scotland - ZS with no brakes.

I love how "intermittently apply the brake pedal" and "DO NOT continually pump the brake pedal" leaves a lot to interpretation...

How do I reset driver side auto window?

Is it included in the car's specs? I don't think so, but I can't remember.

    Speed Limiter

I don't think I have used speed limiting, it's always cruise control. The downside with the pilot is that it's lazy... it can easily climb several km/h over the set speed, and it does very little to get back in the legal zone again.

    Whoops Hoorah.

Yes, I'm using that too. Doesn't feel very intuitive though. But maybe I should just accelerate head on when parking, waiting for the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system to kick in :ROFLMAO:

    Whoops Hoorah.

Yes  I think it is a wrong place to save money, but MG did not think it necessary to install proximity alert in the front.

    Snapped parcel shelf connector

They are not sturdy. I just had my MG garage replace it when they changed the tiers. It didn't cost much.

ZS EV and those hand car washes with pressure washers

I regularly drive our car for automated car washes, and I do it the same way as with petrol and diesel cars in the past – except that I opt out of underbody washing, it can be done permanently in the app of the chain I use. There are pros and cons to car wash machines as with everything else...
