    Service costs

Mines booked in to MG Cheshire Oaks in August for 4th year service. £354 for the usual checks plus pollen filter, brake fluid or coolant change (cant remember which or if it was both) transmission oil change (only one i actually wanted doing) and new key batteries. First service was £90, second...

    MG5 LR Full Rear De-badge

They look much better, i did mine back in October when I picked this one up, also moved the black bar above the numberplate so it was less obvious. Comparison between the old one i replaced and my new one (before I tinted the windows/fitted alloys and lowered).

    Daytime Running Light Problem

So anything not listed on the "Warranty Exception" list is covered for 7 years? In this case, the headlights?

    Daytime Running Light Problem

It won't be under warranty anymore. The only thing warranted for 7 years is the HV battery and 6 years for paint. Everything else expires between 3 and 36 months.

    MG5 A/C Condenser/Radiator Damage

Yeah, it's not a cheap fix, even less so on something as new as these MG5's, so if I can do something to delay that, I will.

    MG5 A/C Condenser/Radiator Damage

What Grahbags has fitted to his bumper will make zero difference to cooling. By saying "restricting the cooling even more", you're suggesting it's restricted to start with. Bear in mind they fit the condenser in front of the coolant radiator. Air has no issue travelling through small channels...

    MG5 A/C Condenser/Radiator Damage

I agree mate and you've more than likely saved yourself an expensive condenser replacement in the long run.

    MG5 EV Lowering springs

I've had cars in the past with a lower ride height than my lowered MG5 and never had any issues of exhausts scraping the ground, so I wouldn't be overly concerned about the battery either. Nonetheless, the battery was designed to take the odd light impact with being the closest thing to the...

    😃MG5 LOWERING SPRINGS😃

They certainly do look much better lower mate, I'm not sure what the designers were thinking making the ride height so high to start with, unless they were going for the 4x4 estate look. Hope you continue enjoying the car mate 👍

    😃MG5 LOWERING SPRINGS😃

Sorry Ian I've only just found this post! Looks great mate. Are you still happy with it a few months on? Ride comfort etc. Disappointed you didn't do the work yourself! 🤣 I don't know what tyres you're running, but if it's anything like mine, it handles exceptionally well on the Eibach's.

    MG5 EV Lowering springs

Slightly higher than the photoshopped white one would be my ideal, bearing in mind I'm on 19's. The best I'll be hoping for is my Eibachs sagging in a few years to be honest. Or go back to the pikey days of cutting off a coil and welding them to the struts 🤪 In all fairness I'm not disappointed...

    MG5 A/C Condenser/Radiator Damage

That's my plan mate, but I'm going to use fine stainless steel mesh (filter type mesh) and mount it on a frame bolted just in front of the condenser. I'm assuming you've managed to avoid any damage to your condenser having fitted your mesh?

    MG5 won't balance charge (2020 pfl exclusive)

I wasn't aware it had a snail mode. On a run back from Aberdaron I got home with 3% battery but the car was behaving normally, albeit slightly slower than when fully charged.

    MG5 Upholstery Wear

It is pretty appaling that they wear to this extent. My previous Excite obviously had cloth seats, but 40k+ miles and no wear. Bought my Exclusive at 21k miles and the pleather seat base bolster was already splitting.

    MG5 A/C Condenser/Radiator Damage

Sorry for the late reply mate, I don't seem to get notified to replies. Last pic is the piece I found between the subframe and underguard.
