PRE-FACELIFT MG5 LR I noticed that after a prolonged period that if after the car had finished charging from 7kW, but was still plugged in (10+ hours), the car came up with a low battery warning. It makes me think that whilst on the AC charging it doesn't check on the 12V battery state and...

They seemed blasé about doing the updates and said it was included under warranty. As mentioned this was going to be done at the same time as its annual service.

My pre-FL MG5 goes in for it’s 2nd service next week, so I’ll report back what I can. Do we have a definitive list of the current software versions?

After 800 miles with two bikes on carriers on the roof, at 65-70mph, I can confirm that efficiency is awful ? Managed 2.3 miles/kWh on my pre-facelift LR. 80% down to 10% was ~100miles.

Had that happen a few times on pre-facelift. I don’t know what mobile network it piggybacks onto but normally I have no standard mobile signal either. Has anyone needed to use it? What happens if you press the button????

Hi all. Sorry to report that it was the same old story on the way home with the Tesla charger. There was a French ZSEV that pulled in after and also couldn’t charge. On the plus side, most Lidl’s have 120kW chargers which when using the Electroverse card we’re totally free.

Blue, yes, but the pre facelift version and it was around 8am. The other MG5 I saw was a red.

I managed to get a set of the Menabo bars at the 11th hour from Amazon Warehouse. Have to say I’m quite impressed with them. Pretty sturdy bars. Have got two bikes on the roof travelling down through France. Kills the mile/kWh rate. Averaged 2.3 for the 400 miles today.
