It's the same with all EV cars, even back to the Prius, this is such a commonly overlooked thing since we don't get the warning of "it sounded slow to start".

The most likely explanation is the simplest, you pressed the wrong pedal while manoeuvring/parking.

This kind of fire risk. Installed and working fine for 6 years, then melts itself one night without warning.
