I have not experienced any efficiency gains driving in motorways but you may be correct. It should be noted that MY24 has 49kwh battery as opposed to 50.8 but seems to deliver similar efficiency.
I have had both and I think an interesting idea for pre MY24 cars is building in my mind. I do nearly the same trip most days in winter and summer. We all know that cold has a major effect on Battery efficiency. The pre MY24 cars have open Grills at the front. Post MY24 have automatic grills...
In MG S5 coming soon, there is a save button. You still have to to recall the setting every time but it is still much better. This car is based on the same platform and seems to be very similar to MG4s. Will it work it's way to our cars?? Fingers crossed
Welcome, you have picked the best car at this price range so well done. Do you have a home charger ( not Granny Cable)? If you do and thus can plug in every night, 100 miles is no problem at all. Having said that also get the Tesla app so you can charge at Tesla superchargers. I would also...
Xiaomi's car is interesting. It comes with a big screen but you can buy an optional button-row that you can click to the screen. This i think is the best solution. Manufacturing cars with buttons in the facia is fiddly and costly. Much cheaper to have just a screen (hence why Tesla designed it...
So, I have one of the earliest MG4 (Oct 2022). I have the same components as in your picture and in the service manual page 243. I also get hot air if I have A/C on or off.
I don't believe I have a heat pump. What does it all mean?
Looks like MG has reduced their prices, not on the internet page but if you look in autotrader for brand new car. What a bargain.
Go to a dealer exchange your old SR for a new one pay extra £X. Based on your car registration date how much is X for you?
I believe the problem is usually the cable. I know your cable work at home etc etc but buy couple of good/very-good cables from google etc and then see if it still disconnects.
Geez where are the gurus?
So I will answer my own question. It is more efficient to heat your battery before going if you are doing anything more than 10 miles.
You can do this from your Ismart. (I am sure I have seen it on the car's main screen too but now I cannot find it).
