My facelift ZS EV LR had a 12 volt Chinese battery which completely died just after the 12 month warranty causing me all sorts of problems. Luckily my dealer changed the battery for a brand new Varta battery and sent the old one back to MG under fault. No problems since !!

The original Chinese battery on my car started to fail just after the 12 month warranty ran out. Tell them you don't want it replaced with another Chinese one. My dealer swapped mine and returned it back to MG under fault.

Change the battery for a Varta battery.......It probably has a Chinese battery on it and they are rubbish. And I'm speaking from experience !!

I have since invested in a battery booster and a sharp punch to shatter the window should it ever happen in the future. I'm hoping never to have to use either.
