Just dropped the Powa for its first service. The dealer mentioned that MG issued an LKA 'recall' a couple of weeks ago, so that will be included in my service. He didn't know exactly what it involves although presumably his workshop colleagues do. He surmised it was a software update to...
1. MG don't provide a vibration fix.
2. No litigation against MG or its dealerships commences or it does but fails.
3. No amount of fussing with tyre pressures etc. removes the issue.

I honestly don't care about the vibration but I do very few motorway miles compared to most here, I imagine.
One thing isn't clear from the above: will the dealership install the shock absorber for free?
Prices always fall. Get over it.
I also bought an XPower last summer shortly after they were launched. No issues so far save for the well-known steering column buzz that appears upwards of 65mph. No regrets at all.
