Probably easier just to ensure better testing, on roads specific to the relevant market, and implementation. I have access to two other EVs and their systems work flawlessly

Original Megane etechs have the same physical buttons for LKA, now Renault have went with a button for all safety systems. The set up in the Megane is one of the things I like the best about my relative's Megane. Google operating system is flawless and physical buttons for fan, temp, rear...

I suppose if they use the MG4 name in China then it's a totally new model after calling the original the Mulan

The MG4 tanked in China so they are obviously going with a model they think will sell there well

That unfortunate combination of buying a new model at full price and the massive negative depreciation on EVs. At least you can walk away at the end

The problem is the kit doesn't work as it should, and turning it off is a pain (or used to be numerous clicks) Fair enough now it seems to behave but it needs a physical button to turn it off.

As you say it all comes to down to what you are interested in, I feel the same about whisky, beer and rugby😁

I take my hat off to all the members who have the patience to monitor this continuously, for me when I switched to an EV several years ago (now on my third) I do nothing different to when I owned my ice cars, I drive at exactly the same speeds, heat it when it needs it, cool it when it needs it...

Spot on given their reluctance (in a lot of cases) to carry out warranty work that shouldn't even be open to debate, you can almost guarantee they would step away from any problems trying to be blamed on the characteristic

It's been discussed to death, the fix does the job, should the tray itself have been redesigned yes! But it wasn't and the bodge is the best fix they could do. At least people can go through a bit of standing water without the fear of their tray being ripped off

Amazing how many folk slagging of EVs have done this, There are also a number of folk who could do with sticking their fingers up their arses as it would prevent them from talking out it all the time😁
