    Help! Ran both batteries down!

Did MG Assist get you charging then? Would be good if you know what they did in case others find themselves in a similar situation.

How long should the 12 volt, battery last ?

We have an MG ZS EV '70' plate so over 4 years old now and 22k miles. I've never had any problems with the 12V battery. I have fitted a Bluetooth battery monitor to keep an eye on things and alert me to any problems. They're £30 on Amazon. Watch Mr EV's video to see what it's all about -...

Rear washer and wiper not working- spooky

A year later, I had the same problem. The wiper works, the motor spins, but there is no water on the rear screen. I took at look at this post but when I found the pipe indicated on my car, it was all connected. I had a look around and found a disconnected pipe at the front of the 'engine' bay...

Post your MG ZS EV battery SOH data please

Cheers. I think I’m just concerned as my new toy lets me look at SoH. I wasn’t worried when I couldn’t monitor it! 😜

Post your MG ZS EV battery SOH data please

I didn’t intend to check the SoH again so soon but here I am. Under 90% now. Has anyone else obsessed about their SoH to tell me if this is ‘normal’? 20,439 miles now so 169 miles and 7 days after the previous reading has lost me 0.1% of battery capacity.

Should I be concerned? 3.5 weeks later and mileage has increased by around 1,000 miles to 20,270. My SOH is now 90.1% so has dropped by 0.5% in this time period. I'll keep checking every week or so but that's a bit alarming. I charged the car to 100% last night and can see from my charge app...

    ZS EV servicing.

Cheers. I'll call MG Assistance and check. If I'm paying for it, I want to know that it's there and how to use it!

    ZS EV servicing.

Yep, our other car is a Tesla. They provide recommendations as to when to replace filters etc and have detailed instructions and videos for you to change your own filters etc. There's no service history to maintain as such.

    ZS EV servicing.

Update: My car had its service and MOT yesterday. Total cost (inc VAT) was £186.49. Looks like the cost of the service ended up at £132 including the pollen filter and screen wash. I've checked and they have replaced the pollen filter - so that's something I guess! I didn't get a battery...

    ZS EV servicing.

Good idea but too late. It's having MOT too and only got a few days before that's due. I think in future I'll get an independent to do it. I think there's a HEVRA garage not too far away - I'll speak to them.

    ZS EV servicing.

I had a look on the MG UK web site to see what should be included. As my car’s only just clocked over 20,000 miles, I reckon it should be the low mileage plan. The service rep confirmed to me that they will change the pollen filter and top up the screen wash only. If I’m lucky, I may get a...

    ZS EV servicing.

My ZS EV is going to my local dealer for its 4 year / 40,000 mile service tomorrow (it's just clicked over 20,000 miles). To cut a long story short, I spoke to them to confirm the cost - it's £142. I asked them to confirm what they would do for that money (whilst I was looking at the MG...

Post your MG ZS EV battery SOH data please

Only just found this thread as I'm playing with a new ODB2 dongle. SOH 90.6% 19k miles 48 months old Very few (<5) rapid charges done. Mostly AC with a 100% charge and balance once every4-6 weeks.

MG ZS EV - AC randomly stops, does anyone else have issues?

I found a pdf service manual thing here - https://cardiagn.com/mg/mg-zs-zs-ev/ It's not as clear as a Haynes manual but has diagrams and instructions. Looks like the process is to disconnect the HV battery before attempting to change the resistor. ? Changing the resistor itself is just...

How to approach intermittent problems under warranty?

Yeah, that would be worth a go. I'd need them to accept it though. It can't just be me who doesn't want to spend money for someone to tell me they can't find a fault. I'll see how it goes. If it gets worse so the fan cuts out every time, then I'll take it back. Otherwise, I'll see if they'll...
