As from April 1st 2025 all EVs will be taxed at the same rate as ICE vehicles (£165 for the MG4 I think). Up until now, they had been exempt.

So, my next service isn't due until next November, and the dealer I use has just lost their MG franchise. What's the chances of getting this update done (and not getting charged for it) at the next nearest dealer I wonder :unsure:

My guess is that SAIC only have one server and if more than a few people try to use the app at the same time it can't cope. As @Martinonline says, sometimes (but by no means all, or even most, of the time ) unlocking then locking the car by remote or door handle button can encourage it to...

I get it after about 3 1/2 hours continuous driving. It really is a PITA when you're on the motorway as it always seems to occur just after you've passed a junction and it's miles before you can get somewhere to switch the car off and back on again.
