And they wonder why so many vehicles on the road are uninsured! What I find rather odd is the lack of big name insurance companies prepared to offer quotes.

I have no idea who I've upset, but now the delivery of my IM5 LR is imminent, I've queried Confused.com and Compare the Market again, and the quotes I had a month ago have doubled! Tesco and Privilege won't even quote. Even my existing insurance company (Ageas) won't quote for the IM5 or IM6...

Just assessing demand at the moment @Vipar . After a week or so I should be able to establish if it is economically viable. Assuming it is, I'll post details on how to order them👍

I need to wait until the end of November anyway, since to qualify for the Affinity discount, I have to be a member of the MGCC for 3 months. The end of November is when that happens and, coincidentally, when the PCP agreement on my current MG4 ends. Let's hope the stars align!!

Well, I suppose taking into account the Christmas break, that's still around the initial estimate. Hopefully we won't get the debacle that happened around the introduction of the MG4 three years ago. My initial estimate then was eight weeks and it took almost 20!!!
