The 3rd party dealership where I bought it from have taken it to be looked at and will liaise with MG to get it sorted. In the meantime they’ve given me a courtesy car. I did ask them if they would pay me compensation for using rapid chargers, less what it would cost me to charge at home but...

Ahh I get you. They are all the same brand, I guess no harm in trying another site as you say. It’s booked in for 5 weeks after all.

I have done, we have 15 independently fed 7kW chargers at work. Same result after trying 5 or 6 different ones.

Just tested at a DC charger, successfully topped up 10% with no issues. Guess I’ll return to the dealership with my findings later and get booked in. Thanks all.

This was nonsense 😂 it hadn’t restarted the charge whilst I was asleep.

Recently bought a used MG4 Trophy, 23 plate, no rear windscreen wiper. Read previous posts on here with relation to the fault I’m having. 7kW home wall charger keeps aborting the charge. Does around 2kWh initially then keeps aborting after a further 0.2kWh or so. Having to restart constantly...
