    MG ZS missing V2L function

Yes, thanks we're compiling a list. The latest is that Android Auto is not working even though my device recognised the car. If the car is actually nearly 2 years old I am guessing software will be out of date. Build date was July 23 but sold to us as new.

    MG ZS missing V2L function

V2L not working. This is a pretty long thread now, and I have read it through carefully. Posting in case there are others in the same situation. We have just bought a newly-registered ZS (74) but we now know that the motor was made in May 23 and the date of manufacture was 06/07/23. The number...

    £299 Electroverse voucher

We bought our car yesterday and asked the Eden salesman about it (there was a large banner behind his head). He had to tick a box to allow Eden Motors to contact Octopus with my email address. The two emails arrived today. One £299 for Electroverse car charging and one £299 credit to our home...

    MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

The December 24 podcast on this forum tells you about the new 25 model. It's going to be a full EV SUV shape, but RWD which wouldn't suit us. So we are glad to have got a ZS. The new models are discussed by an MG employee, so it's worth a watch. Ranges are increasing. The real range of a 115kw...

    MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

We have been told by two dealers in Devon that numbers of ZS (and MG 5) are low now because MG is replacing them with a new model. Two said they can't get any more new. One at Drive Weston super Mare only had two new left. Eden Motors and Baylis Gloucester still have a choice of colours. MG are...

MG ZS "armrest" - why do they have them?

Thanks for all your replies. We test drove a ZS SE Long Range today. My elbows were nowhere near the armrest as my legs are short and my husband did knock it occasionally with his elbow but we decided that everything else about the car suits us, so we have bought one.

MG ZS EV Wiki - useful Information

Thanks very much for the advice. We found carwow very useful to identify the range of prices. Today we visited a local dealer just to test drive a ZS and were surprised to find they offered us a price 5k less than they had submitted on carwow, which almost matched the national lowest price. MG...

MG ZS EV Wiki - useful Information

Thanks that's really helpful. We are quite computer-literate but are moving from a history of manual Citroen diesels. We have a radio/CD and cruise control but that's it, so this is all new to us. Dealers are saying that they're expecting the ZS to be phased out now, so are selling off the last...

MG ZS EV Wiki - useful Information

Could anyone explain difference between Trophy and Trophy Connect? Are all ZS in 2024 able to connect to the Internet? For updates do you have to go to the dealer? We're hoping to get a new or nearly new ZS before they're all gone.

Advice for a new ev buyer

Thanks yes, we are hoping to test drive one, if we can find one, and see if it's a real bother. Several people say it's not a problem and I see many new cars have them. Coming from an old manual with gear stick, it struck us as odd.

Advice for a new ev buyer

Yes, it was on our list. Although it can tow, the range is quite low, especially when towing.

MG ZS "armrest" - why do they have them?

We're thinking of trying again and checking the seat height. Looking at other brochures it seems lots of cars have them. Does the height of the steering wheel also adjust?

MG ZS "armrest" - why do they have them?

I guess my husband must have long arms then, as the seat was at its highest setting. He is 5ft 10 tall, so not a giant.

Advice for a new ev buyer

Unfortunately, we are really struggling to find anything suitable. We need to tow about 500Kg, good ground clearance to access our house, reasonably flat boot space when the seats are down (Picasso is brilliant for that) and would like 200+ mile real range for holidays. Very disappointed with...
